Welcome to F.I.T. 4:13

Hello! Thanks for checking out my blog. This is the home of F.I.T. 4:13. Simpy put, we are a scriptural based physical training system. I designed this after being led by the Lord to find a way to reach out to believers and non-believers alike to not only strengthen the body, but the spirit as well. Without getting to technical, FIT4:13(Fellowship In Training) is finally taking shape as I have been praying and reflecting upon the Lord to guide me in this. Most basic template would be a 10-15 minute scripture and devotional. 10-15 minutes of specific stretches and "mobility" exercises(which I have carefully reviewed with a physical therapist & a chiropractor) 10-15 minutes of rather intense calesthenic/ body weight exercise and 5-10 minutes of specific stretching and prayer. My thought process is basically each session begins studying the word, which would allow the participants to reflect upon the devotional during the warmup, workout and cool-down. The verse selection would be inspirational and verses based on "strength" (psalms 18 for ex.) Prayer would be encouraged during the training session and it would be my goal to make sure that everything during the sessions glorified God.
